Every generation is built by a new team of students in one year. Some seasons end on the podium. Some end in the pit lane. Both are in here.
Built for the 2025 season on a new steel space frame chosen for reliability and repairability after three seasons of carbon chassis. It carries the Urban Concept battery electric entry and the autonomous stack.
Poland 2025 gave us a finished car and no valid efficiency run. Team 2026 went back and posted 137 km/kWh, tenth in Europe and our first classified result since 2019.

Thirteen students build NTNU's first Shell Eco-marathon car. Second overall, plus the communication and road safety awards.
An 80 kg hydrogen fuel cell car wins the Urban Concept class at 1246 km per litre equivalent, a world record, with the lowest CO2 emissions in the field.
Fuel Fighter 2 swaps the fuel cell for batteries. Built in one year, fifth in class, and the start of a decade of battery electric development.
Third in Urban Concept battery electric, plus the design and communication awards. Solar panels join the package.
The team enters both a hydrogen Urban Concept car and a Prototype, with roughly ten thousand development hours behind them.

Fuel Fighter 4 returns and takes second place in Urban Concept battery electric.
Fuel Fighter 5, a 73 kg carbon car, posts 181 km/kWh, fifth place and the Vehicle Design Award. Still the number to beat.
Fuel Fighter 6, 66 kg of carbon and flax fibre, takes third in the Autonomous Challenge on the first attempt. No valid efficiency run.

Team 2026 takes Fuel Fighter 7 back to Poland and finishes tenth in Europe at 137 km/kWh.
